Castell Coch is an astonishing castle in Wales. It is in excellent shape and the term "Castell Coch" is Welsh for "The Red Castle" which refers to the red tinted stone used to build it.
Notes: Gothic Revival

The courtyard is simply astonishing. The brickwork, the roofwork and the red painted woodwork all are just perfect. This could be the set of a movie.
