A Video Tour of Himeji Castle

This video takes an in depth tour style look at a Japanese Medieval Castle (Himeji) I show you the outside from several vantage points and show you some of the inside including a view inside the very top where the shrine is and a look out the topmost window where we look out on the city. Another thing is that I point out and show you some of the similarities between Japanese Medieval Castles and European Ones. Even though they look very different they accomplished the same tasks.

I also show you a miniature diorama I make of this very same castle.
